Arctic Fortress

Overview

The Arctic Fortress build turns you into an unkillable wall of ice. By stacking freeze effects and ice damage, you shut down enemy attacks while chipping away at their health. Arctic Wind is the centrepiece — it applies freeze on every hit, and frozen enemies deal reduced damage. Pair with defensive mythics for a build that simply refuses to die.

Core Skills (Priority Order)

1. Glacial Strike (Common) - Your ice foundation. Attacks have a chance to apply freeze.
2. Arctic Wind (Mythic, S+) - Build-defining. Massively enhances freeze application and ice damage.
3. Absolute Zero (Legendary, A) - Frozen enemies take increased damage from all sources.
4. Ice Expertise (Mythic, S+) - +15% ice damage. Requires 5 ice tags.
5. Chain Freeze (Common) - Ice chains to additional enemies on hit.
6. Winter’s Touch (Common) - Applies ice when enemies attack you. Passive defence.
7. Iron Will (Mythic, S) - Damage reduction at low HP. Essential for tank builds.

Supporting Skills

• Sentinel (Mythic, S) - Additional damage reduction. Stacks with Iron Will.
• Boost DEF / Boost HP (Common) - Raw survivability.
• Winter’s Bite (Common) - Bonus damage against frozen enemies.
• Last Stand (Legendary) - Shield when below 30% HP.

Strategy Tips

• This build is all about attrition. You outlast enemies rather than burst them.
• Winter’s Touch is underrated — it applies freeze passively when enemies hit you, meaning you’re always freezing even without attacking.
• Absolute Zero turns your crowd control into a damage multiplier. Every frozen enemy takes bonus damage from your whole team.
• In Raids, this build shines as a frontliner. Pair with a Bolt or Fire DPS for the ideal duo.
• Don’t skip Burst Ice — the limit break freeze is AoE and can lock down entire waves.

Extremely reliable and forgiving. Not the highest damage, but unmatched survivability makes it a top pick for harder content and Raids.
